The Korea Buddhism Jo-Gei Temple of America — also known as Chogyesa or NY Jogei Temple — is a Korean Seon (Chan/Zen) Buddhist temple offering daily chanting and meditation practice, weekly classes, and community programs that are free and open to the public.
Located on the Upper West Side and fueled by generosity, our temple serves as a welcoming home for visitors from all walks of life. We aspire to be a multicultural practice center where anyone can chant, meditate, share, and learn together as one.
